Winter Solstice Retreat – A Sacred Day of Renewal, Purification & Rejoice

Join us on December 20th, 11am–7pm at Sacred Sanctuary Franklin, Wisconsin, for an intimate and intentional Winter Solstice Retreat — a celebration of the longest night and the returning light.

A limited number of participants will gather for a full day of healing and community. We will begin with a pilgrimage through the forest, offering gifts and prayers to the spirits of the land. Upon return, we will ignite the sacred fire, setting intentions of renewal and purification.

The journey continues with a traditional sauna ritual and ice bath ceremony, embodying release and rebirth through elemental balance. We’ll close the day with a Winter Feast — an experience of intentional eating, gratitude, and shared celebration.

🌞 Sun Entering Capricorn ♑ 

The Sun’s entry into Capricorn during the Winter Solstice marks a time of rebirth, structure, and embodiment of purpose. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, teaches us discipline, endurance, and spiritual maturity. As the Sun begins its ascent, we are invited to rise with it — to build strong foundations, commit to our higher calling, and manifest our visions with grounded devotion. This is a time to transform intention into form, dream into action, and spirit into sacred work in the world.

Please Bring:

Bathing suit or shorts for sauna & ice bath

Towel, robe, and water bottle

Warm layers and outdoor boots for the forest walk

An offering for the land (herbs, flowers, grain, or symbolic items)
